YES! 2008 Conference

Basic info

August 16th – 24th 2008- University of California Los Angeles-UCLA.

All those attending the conference are required to stay at UCLA.

The YES! World Youth Conference is a program hosted by Sri Lanka Foundation for Young Expatriates of Sri Lanka who are living all over the world and requested such an annual event to develop youth activities in the Sri Lankan community. A first of its kind conference for youth of Sri Lankan origin, the YES! World Youth Conference gives an opportunity to network, learn about Sri Lankan culture and to develop plans to help Sri Lanka.

At the conference we hope to discuss various topics that are important to youth of Sri Lankan origin, there will be cultural events,talent competitions, workshops, and sports. For those who are interested in helping and working in Sri Lanka, we have great internship opportunities available at companies, developmental agencies, non governmental organizations and sports associations in Sri Lanka.
